THE second half of the touch football competition kicks off when school returns next week and the first games will be played on Wednesday, February 1 due to the MHS twilight swimming carnival being held on Thursday, February 2.
Right from the kick off games will count towards final placings in the competition and are not just an opportunity for everyone to dust off the boots and settle back in as in past years.
All teams have been graded into five different grades and the dates for the rounds of competition are: Wednesday, February1; Thursday, February9; Thursday, February 16; Tuesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 23.
Please note that in Round four games will be played on both Tuesday and Thursday nights that week.
The last round of competition will be on Thurdsay, February 23, for B, C and D grades and March 1 for A and E grades.
Semis finals will start the following week with the grand finals set down for March 29.
Everyone is reminded that all players must be registered before taking the field. Teams on 6pm games should arrived at the field by 5.45pm as games will be starting right on time.
Rounds one to six will see an additional timeslot of 7.40pm where one game will be played. This is due to all 26 teams playing in the competition each night.
Players are reminded that team sheets must be filled in correctly with all players who are playing on the night listed along side their corresponding shirt number before the game commences.
All teams need to be in full uniform before the start of Round one.
The new draw will be emailed to team captains early next week.
