Brumbies fever hits town

03 Apr, 2008 05:45 AM
The ACTEW AGL sponsored Brumbies country coaching clinic held in Harden Friday 28th March was a resounding success with a record attendance at the combined clinic and registration afternoon. All junior players from 6-15yrs thoroughly enjoyed meeting their Brumby idols while running through training drills involving all aspects of the game. To the enjoyment of the under 15 players a game of touch against the Brumbies squad followed by autograph signing proved to be both great fun and entertainment.

Due to the strong turnout at registration Harden Junior Rugby Club will field teams in the U 7, U 9, U11 and U15 age groups. However any players who missed the day are still able to register by contacting either Margie McGeoch 0427 432695 or Hugh Flanery 0428 867258

All U11 Little Devils who are playing in the Brumbies V’s Chiefs curtain raiser this Friday night are reminded to meet at the front entrance of Bruce Stadium at 3.30pm.

Given the large number of junior players participating in the pre game junior parade, training will not be held on Friday, April 4 as previously indicated. The first full training session will be held on Friday, April 11, at 5.30pm followed by the first round gala day to be held at Cootamundra on Sunday, Apri1 13.
