<description><![CDATA[IT was Wombat's time to shine on Thursday afternoon as their locals united for the village's annual Australia Day celebrations.
The day began at 9am with market stalls and a street parade before the official ceremony at 1pm where select citizens were acknowledged for their contributions to the Wombat Progress Association, Wombat Public School, Wombat Social Club and the village church group.]]></description>
