Council outdoor staff have been hard at work continuing the upgrades of the Harden swimming pool through the Christmas holidays. Battling the glare and heat from the concrete outdoor staff members have now finished all of the major concrete work including the slab of concrete that goes over the ballast tank at the top end of the pool and all of the surrounding footpaths. The new seating and shade areas at either end of the pool have been installed as well as the new hand railings. The tiling of the gutters will commence soon and after that has been completed the wet deck panels will then go into place.
