 Online community directory MOU

Online community directory MOU

17 Feb, 2012 12:36 PM
THE Harden Murrumburrah District Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an agreement with the Harden Shire Council last week to manage and maintain the council’s online community and business directory.

The community directory (www.harden.nsw.gov.au) will be a valuable resource for local residents and visitors, giving them access to a comprehensive and up-to-date directory of local businesses and community groups.

The memorandum of understanding has created a partnership that will see the chamber be responsible for the upkeep and control of the directory as well as ensuring its accuracy and relevance.

The directory will also provide free marketing and promotional space for all local businesses and groups.

It is not a a tourism website, but rather an online customer service centre which will provide general information and advice on council business and where to gain additional information, if needed.

The directory is an additional module of the council’s website and will specifically highlight Harden’s local business directory.
