 Lights back on in Harden

Lights back on in Harden

07 Feb, 2008 05:29 AM
Tuesday night this week the first training session for the combined Harden-Binalong side the South-West Brahmans took place at McLean Oval Harden.

There was a good roll up of players for both the 18’s and first grade side and new players were also in attendance to sign up for the first time including players who had travelled from Yass.

It’s gearing up to be a great first season for the combination side, with a number of players bringing a wealth of experience with them. The first grade side will have a good mix of experienced Binalong players fresh from last year’s competition such as Captain Coach Jason Pollard, Joe Dyball, Shannon King and AJ Sykes who should be back from America in time for kick-off. They will be joined by a number of Harden players who once flew with the Hawks including John Quinn who is strapping on the boots for this season and Brad Early who will make a return to local football. A number of other high quality players will join the South-West Brahmans for the first time this year including Shane Picker from Boorowa, who has experience playing with the Canberra Raiders, and Adam Jones who has played in the Presidents Cup for Penrith.
