Harden Fire Brigade celebrates 75 years

The Harden Fire Brigade held their 75 years celebrations at the Harden District Bowling Club last Saturday night.

Following the welcome from Hardens Captain, Wal Leonow, guest speaker Acting Zone Commander Graham Jarrett gave a run down on the history of the NSW Fire Brigade.

Former Captains Neville Simpson and Toby Grainger also said a few words and

spoke of the great camaraderie amongst the brigade members.

Acting Zone Commander Graham Jarrett and Acting Area Commander Steve Davis handed out long service and good conduct medal to John Parker and Tim O’Keeffe and Gary Metcalfe National Medal was awarded a State medal for 15 years service.

The 70 guests enjoyed a fabulous feast from Golden Roast caterers and caught up with old colleagues over a few quiet drinks.
