Extensive damage to police vehicle

Whilst parked at the Harden Picnic Races on Saturday November 30, a marked police car has sustained extensive damage to the front portion of the vehicle.

An unknown person has caused the damage.

As a result of a brawl that erupted in the bar area of the Harden picnic races the licensing Sargent shut down the bar area at 8.30pm.

Police action is to be taken against a 22-year-old Sydney man following a brawl at the Harden Picnic Races.

The Sydney man assaulted police and capsicum spray was used to subdue the offender due to his aggression.

In two separate incidents at the Harden Picnic Races on Saturday, November 30 a Ladies purse was reported lost and a Mobile phone stolen.

A 27-year-old Sydney man was removed from the Sydney bound XPT on Saturday, November 30.

The man was removed after disruption other passengers on the train.

***

On Friday, November 29 a 30 year old Griffith man was charged with driving whilst disqualified in an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

At midnight on Saturday November 30, the front window of a Neill Street property was smashed by a group of intoxicated youths.

Investigation into the incident is still continuing.

A 17 year old Cootamundra youth has escaped injury after the commodore he was driving commodore sedan he was driving collided with the footpath and brick driveway of an Acacia Avenue home at 11pm Saturday, November 30.

The car was extensively damaged in the incident.

As a result the youth has been issued with an infringement notice for negligent driving.
