Expansion for local transport company

18 Jan, 2008 05:50 AM
Maddens Transport will soon be undergoing a major expansion with the pre-Christmas acquisition of the old Harden Abattoirs building.

The Abattoirs building which was stripped of all meat production equipment at an auction last year will undergo a transformation to become a cold storage facility.

Modification of the existing buildings and the installation of freezers and pallet racking will allow Maddens Transport to expand its storage capacity by an additional 2000 pallet spaces from its existing 400 pallet spaces of cold storage area that is already in place at their depot in Murrumburrah.
