Award for Todd

FORMER Harden Murrumburrah man Todd Burns received an award from the Governor General Ms Quentin Bryce, AC, CV for his work at Government House on Australia Day.

Todd was awarded an Australia Day Medallion in recognition of his work at Government House, Canberra. He has been employed at Government House for the past three years after starting there as an apprentice.

From there he moved to work in human resources and has now been offered a new position of ‘second in charge in House’. In this new position he will work and travel with the Governor General.

Proud parents Paul and Debbie Burns, along with Todd’s niece Bianca, travelled to Canberra for the presentation.
