In the box seat
7:36 AM AEDT | aHardens Merrin Cup cricket team has now catapulted into the box seat, so to speak, after the first weekend of the finals. On Saturday Cootamundra’s Albert Park was unplayable due to the inclement weather the night before. And so the Harden and Big O (Olympic Hotel) clash was moved to the synthetic pitch of Mitchell Park.

Setting sights on a big year
04 Feb 10 | Harden Junior Rugby League held their first meeting for the 2010 season on Monday night at the Royal Hotel. Registrations for the coming season will be taken on two sign on days, the first on Thursday February 25 at Roberts Park during touch football from 6pm. The second will be on Saturday March 6, between 9am and 12pm outside the post office.

26 Nov 09 | After a long hot and dry spell, and with the threat of rain on the day, the weather for the 29th Annual Harden Picnic Races turned out to be perfect for racegoers. The crowd numbers appeared to be up on last year’s event, with around 2000 people out enjoying the day at the Harden Racecourse.
