18 Dec 08 | JUGIONG Polocrosse players Will and Todd Weston have reached the top levels of their chosen sport, recently selected in the Australian National Open Mixed Polocrosse team following a very successful year.
Will, who was also named vice-captain of the side and his brother Todd gained selection following brilliant performances at the Australian National Titles in Perth in October where they played in the NSW Open State side.
18 Dec 08 | AFTER four and a half fantastic years as Principal of Wombat Public School, Michael Ostler has decided, following long deliberation to leave and take up the Principal’s position at Parkes East Public School.
It is a bittersweet moment for Mr Ostler, who came to Wombat from Young North Public School in 2004 after previous principal Danny Spillane moved on.

For little Ellie-Rose McCarthy (7), James Daley (6) and both Caleb (10) and Hannah Madden (8), this was their first ever competitive swimming event and each got a lot out of the experience.

After a slow start as headers and trucks were stranded up north with the rains, there is now a surplus of contractors, getting in to get the wheat off the paddocks fast.
